Parade Entry Information
The 67th annual Floresville Peanut Festival is scheduled for October 6,7, and 8th, 2011.
It is our pleasure to invite you to join the fun and excitement by honoring us with your entry
into the 2011 Floresville Peanut Festival Parade.
Parade Date: Saturday, October 8, 2011
Time: 10:00 am
Judging: All entries MUST be in the line up by 8:30 a.m. to be judged
Entry Deadline: September 1, 2011
All participants that would like to have their entry judged are asked to be in the line up
position by 8:30 a.m. The judging will begin promptly! Bands must perform before the judges
in order to be considered for an award.
Please complete the Waiver of Liability form and Parade Entry Form. Include a brief script
to be read by the parade announcers. The deadline for applications is September 1, 2010.
A letter of confirmation including your line up number and map will be mailed approximately
1-2 weeks before the parade. Please have your entry number ready for quick directions.
Please attach your entry number (peanut) on the outside of your driver's windshield for the
judges and announcers convenience.
The Floresville Peanut Festival requests that you DO NOT THROW ANYTHING FROM YOUR CAR, FLOAT,
ETC. AS A SAFETY PRECAUTION.
